Focusrite's VRM (Virtual Reference Monitoring) technology which first made an appearance in their Saffire Pro 24 DSP interface has found its way into a dedicated headphone monitoring interface the VRM Box. Launched at NAMM this clever gizmo connects to your computer via USB and endows it with a stereo 24-bit/48kHz headphone output (though it can work at any standard sample rate up to 192kHz when used with its S/PDIF input).
